His story is proof that when you prioritise your health and push past limitations, the results can change not only your body, but your entire outlook on life.

When did you join the Physique Academy?
I joined Physique Academy in March 2025
Why did you join Physique Academy?
I joined PA after a trip to Thailand where I was looking in the mirror and felt like I had hit rock bottom. I had been following PA on instagram for a number of months but wasn’t ready to commit. It was after that trip that I knew I needed to do something different because I wasn’t seeing the changes I wanted to with my training and physique and just didn’t feel healthy.
What have you achieved both physically and personally since joining the academy?
Physically, I lost 30lbs that I didn’t think I even had to lose. I’m stronger in many ways than I was before and now I can see it in the mirror and I feel it, it’s something you can’t put a price on. Personally I have a new sense of confidence everywhere I go.
What is your ultimate fitness goal?
My goal ultimately is to be functional the rest of my life. I’ve had 4 knee surgeries so to keep my body and mind strong as I get older and avoid anymore injuries or medical interventions is always in the back of my mind. I want to be able to train in some capacity for the rest of my life.
In what other areas of your life has Physique Academy helped you improve?
The program was challenging and has helped me build the mental strength and understanding of what I have to do to achieve difficult goals in life. I also have a new understanding of nutrition and the science behind it, which has led to a better relationship with food. Ultimately it’s brought balance into my life.
Would you recommend Physique Academy?
Absolutely, but I do think it’s for men who are done with excuses and who truly want change. It could be the most challenging thing you’ve ever done and that requires sacrifices some guys aren’t willing to make.
What gets you motivated to complete the programme to best of your ability?
This is something I’ve spoken to my coach about often, I just value my health above all else so I’m willing to do what I have to do to put that first. Health is wealth and I think everything else falls in line after that. There’s also a high you get when you look around the gym and realize that there isn’t anyone else working as hard as you in there. And when you’re hearing the voice in your head that’s telling you to stop or that you cant do better and you fight past that, it’s such a rewarding feeling when you do.
Is there something fitness related you can do now you couldn’t do before joining Physique Academy?
I couldn’t do pull ups, I couldn’t jog for more than half a mile without knee pain, now I can do both and more. I couldn’t see my abs or see definition in my shoulders and now I see both without flexing, it’s incredible. How important is a routine for you?
I do value routine, but above all else I prioritize consistency. I think you can achieve results without a set routine but not without consistency because life happens and you have to adjust, you just can’t stop.
What has been your highlight of working with Physique Academy?
Probably seeing my 6 pack for the first time in years and being able to do more than 10 pull ups for the first time ever. Both were signs that I was in the best shape of my life and at 35 I didn’t think that was possible. What’s next on your fitness journey?
Next up I want to put on more size, muscle, and strength. I want to explore a career in fitness data and nutrition and see where life takes me. I’m grateful to have had this experience and I plan to continue the habits I’ve established from here on out.
