When Andre joined Physique Academy back in June 2025, he was at a point many men can relate to, feeling stuck, low on energy, and disconnected from the version of himself he knew he was capable of being. Fast forward to today, and his journey is nothing short of transformational. Dropping an incredible 16kg is a huge physical milestone, but what truly sets Andre apart is the mindset shift behind it all. In his mid-40s, he’s proven that your prime doesn’t have an expiry date, it simply evolves. With renewed confidence, unstoppable consistency, and a completely rebuilt relationship with food and training, Andre hasn’t just changed his body, he’s taken back control of his life, setting the standard for what’s possible when you fully commit to the process.

When did you join the Physique Academy?
I joined back in June 2025.
Why did you join Physique Academy?
I felt completely stuck. I had lost my motivation, was tired all the time, and had gained weight. I just wasn't happy with where I was at and knew I needed a major change to get out of that situation.
What have you achieved both physically and personally since joining the academy?
Physically, I’ve dropped 16kg, which feels amazing. But personally, the biggest win is the confidence I've gained. I finally proved to myself that being in your mid-40s doesn’t mean it’s the end of your prime, it’s just a new chapter, and you can still completely transform yourself.
What is your ultimate fitness goal?
My ultimate goal is simply to stay active, strong, and healthy for life. It's all about longevity now.
In what other areas of your life has Physique Academy helped you improve?
The ripple effect has been huge. My energy levels are higher, which has led to better focus at work. I've also completely rebuilt my relationship with food, so I know how to fuel my body properly now.
Would you recommend Physique Academy?
100%. I already recommend it to all my friends and to anyone who stops to ask me why I'm looking so good lately!
What gets you motivated to complete the programme to the best of your ability?
Two things: seeing the actual, physical progress week by week, and the accountability from my coach. Knowing someone is in my corner keeping track of my efforts makes a massive difference on the days I might not feel like training.
Is there something fitness related you can do now you couldn’t do before joining Physique Academy?
It's having the stamina to get through tough workouts. Before I joined, I was tired all the time. Now, carrying 16kg less and having a solid routine, my endurance and strength are on a completely different level.
How important is a routine for you?
It's been everything. Motivation fades, but building a solid daily habit was super important to get me out of that stuck phase and keep me consistently moving forward.
What has been your highlight of working with Physique Academy?
Proving to myself that I could do it. Seeing the visual progress and knowing that I took control of my health and completely turned my life around.
What’s next on your fitness journey?
Now that I've dropped the weight, a clean bulk is next on the agenda.
