My discipline and desire to push the body and mind to new levels is my drive. Being able to help others break their own limitations gives me fulfilment. I have always been very active from a young age taking part in many different sports. Football was my biggest passion through my younger years, and I always played for a team up until the age 16 when I found my love for bodybuilding. I was always a skinny guy, and the gym gave me a place where I could work on these insecurities in myself.
I quickly became obsessed with weight training and would be in the gym every day in the pursuit of building a desirable physique. After none stop reading into nutrition and bodybuilding, I realised this was something I was passionate about and so went on to do personal training at college.
I have taken my personal journey with my body to extreme levels through serious force feeding to get “bigger”. I went against everything I knew and quickly fell into a bad place of never feeling big enough or good enough. Even though I had been training consistently for so long at this point I knew I was stuck in a bad cycle that I needed to break. I dropped 70lbs and changed my whole outlook on training and what made me feel good. Adopting a more hybrid approach, training in CrossFit, starting up running whilst continuing my hypertrophy training. For a much more functional look inside and out. I pulled myself out of a bad place mentally and have been through an amazing journey myself over the last 10 years of training. Although there were a lot of hard times in the process and parts I wish I could have done differently. It’s given me great knowledge into so many areas and aspects of training we go through mentally and physically and challenges we may be faced with.
