“At first I was in shock, then it slowly sunk in and I couldn’t stop smiling! I knew I’d accomplished something I’d been putting off for a long time, and the fact that it was in a competition was recognition of the sheer hard work I’d put in over the past 16 weeks. It means everything to me.”
Laurence
Laurence was 232lbs and didn't recognise the man looking back at him in the mirror. Clothes that used to fit were not anymore. He was relying heavily on food and drink just to manage stress.
He knew he needed to do something about it, he just kept putting it off. Then he stopped waiting.
16 weeks later, 50 pounds lost, personal running records broken, and a massive cash prize in his pocket.
But when we spoke to him after the challenge, the massive cash prize wasn't even mentioned...
“I can't operate in the day without a morning run. I love to train harder than ever. I see myself differently. I see the world differently too. Coach Danny and Physique Academy have changed my life!”
That's what this challenge actually does. The weight comes off, the confidence comes back, and the man you've been putting off becoming finally shows up.
Now is the best time to get in shape for summer
Simple. Beat the person you were on day one.
This isn't a bodybuilding competition. We're not lining you up against anyone else. The guy who starts at 310lbs and the guy who starts at 190lbs are playing a completely different game and we judge them that way.
What we're looking at is your transformation. Physique change, weight dropped, visible muscle gained, all measured against your own starting point. The biggest change wins. Not the best physique.
All of our coaches will review all submissions through an in-house voting system and select the top 3 transformations. Those 3 then go to a public vote where the audience decides the winner.
But between you and us, every man who finishes this challenge already wins something far more valuable than three grand.
Guidelines on before and after images will be provided by your coach.
Be honest with yourself for a second.
Are you avoiding the beach because of how you feel in your body?
Do you find yourself saying no to things you actually want to do?
Are you tired by midday, relying on caffeine and convenience food just to get through it?
When your kids want to run around, are you already looking for a reason to sit it out?
That's not just a fitness problem. That's your quality of life.
The men who did something about it last year didn't have better genetics or more time. They just made a decision and had the right people behind them.
This is your chance to do the same.
Whether you bodybuild, calisthenics, CrossFit, or Hyrox training, we have a coach for you
Most programmes fail for the same reason. They ask you to do things you hate, eat in a way that doesn't suit you, and fit your life around a plan instead of the other way around.
We do it differently.
You will get a coach based on your lifestyle and training preferences, building your training and nutrition around your lifestyle, your preferences, and what you can realistically sustain.
Not just for 16 weeks, but beyond it.
The goal isn't to get you to the finish line. It's to make sure you never need to start over again.
Was raising two kids alone and caring for his father through late-stage Parkinson’s.
“Most men would have come up with plenty of excuses in this situation. Ross used it as a reason. He lost 50lbs.”
Hadn’t looked at himself in the mirror with his shirt off in over 4 years.
“It was costing him his confidence. He quietly stopped pursuing. He lost 49lbs. He got it all back.”
Had been consistently training for 13 years but had nothing to show for it.
“Despite being a father of 3 kids and working long hours on his business, he lost 58lbs.”
Thought it was his age and hadn’t run a single mile in his life.
“Six months later, he placed 3rd in his age group at a 5K and completed a half marathon. He lost 45lbs.”
Busy schedules. Demanding jobs. Young kids. Every reason not to start. They did it anyway.
